As a W&I Insurance Broker at AssuredPartners you will play a pivotal role in facilitating successful M&A transactions by providing expert advice and crafting bespoke insurance solutions for clients. You will lead transactions from start to finish with the support of the wider team. You will collaborate closely with advisers, underwriters, and clients to structure policies and help our clients successfully complete M&A transactions.

Negotiation: Negotiate policy terms, conditions, and premiums with underwriters on behalf of clients, ensuring optimal coverage and competitive pricing.
Business development: Take an active role in new client meetings and presentations. Be confident when speaking in public and have a desire to generate and foster client relationships.
Market Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with underwriters, based on trust and fair dealing. Our knowledge of the market is vital in securing a competitive advantage for our clients.
Marketing: We are well known for making our client entertainment and events unique, memorable and fun. You will play a key role in coming up with new ideas and helping to run events and experiences.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Academic: Undergraduate degree with a grade of 2:1 or above.
Professional: Relevant experience within the M&A insurance market, or related industries (law, corporate finance, financial services) with a focus on corporate transactions.
M&A knowledge: Familiarity with the M&A process, legal documentation, and transactional risks.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills to advocate for clients and secure favourable terms.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex financial and legal information.
Client-focused approach: Dedication to clients and their advisers is vital.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when structuring policies and reviewing documentation.
